3 things I'm sad to hit pan on...

Wednesday, September 16, 2009

First of all, I want to thank all the new followers and wish y'all good luck with the contest ;)

It's just a random post today...

I've never try to do the Project 10 pans (or 5 pans) coz I know I will never succeed... haha. I don't do impulse buy but when there is something that I really want, I can't wait.

I usually feel happy and sense of achievement when I hit pan on makeup items, like eyeshadows and blushes. I recently hit pan on some stuff I actually feel sad about ... mainly coz they are good products, fairly pricey, and they work for me.

Shiseido Bio-Performance Advanced Super Revitalizer Cream
StriVectin-SD Eye Cream
NARS Laguna Bronzer

They are definitely items I will repurchase, but my curious natural told me to look what's out there... so I'm kinda struggling now. I've been just putting on lots of serum or do leave on mask everyday, haha...

I'm actually already on my second Laguna, so that one doesn't count, just wanna show you all how big a pan I hit... lol ;)

On the other hand, a product I probably will never hit pan on...

I thought I like it when I first tried it in the store, but after bought it I'm just not too crazy about the smell. I use it very slowly, the only thing that keep me reaching for it is the SPF23, on those days when I need a little sun protection without whole face makeup.

What's the skincare product you keep repurchasing?

I hit the pan recently too!
Mine were the Paul &Joe whitening serum, which I won't repurchase coz it did nothing to lighten my scars!
and some Marcel eyecream...extremely meh...
How's the StriVectin eye cream? I'm on the hunt for a good eye cream...but i want it to reduce puffiness and dark circles...
non that i've tried every does anything...

One skincare item I always repurchase is Creme de La Mer. I've always been curious about that StriVectin-SD Eye Cream. Does it help with dark eye circles?

Hi Summer!

Congrats on hitting pan and I totally understand how you feel when you have to repurchase expensive items. XD Oh, I was interested in the SD eye cream and glad to hear it works well for you. I bought the Keihl's Creamy Avocado Eye Treatment and it sucked lol, provided hardly any moisture.

Well done for hitting pan, but I know it's a pain when it's on products that you love and have to repurchase. I actually have a tub of that Kiehls Abyssine cream, and it's been sitting there for a whole year and I've probably touched it 5-6 times max LOL!

I really want to get the Strivectin cream. Do you happen to have a review on it?

I always repurchase my MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack and Kiehls Avacado Moisturizing Eye Cream.

All the items you've hit pan on sounds lovely! (I have Nars laguna bronzer myself and I too would feel sad if I ever hit pan on it!) The strivectin-SD eye cream actually looks pretty big of a tube but I'm sure you spent a fortune on it! The product that I would always keep repurchasing is MAC'S black track fluid line :)

I do the same thing too - even if I like a product, I'm tempted to try out something new instead of repurchasing! But a few products I always keep staple are my Cetaphil products (cleanser, lotion and moisturizer) and my Olay Classic face cream =)

Like you, I repurchase skincare products from Neutrogena & Queen Helene a lot. They are must haves, I also stick with my haircare products and I'm brand loyal to Design Essentials and Tresseme.
When it comes to makeup, I like to try different products because sometimes formulas change and they don't work or look as good as I'd like them to.
